Dahoo appearance at the Plazm party

Plazm magazine's 15th anniversary party on Saturday 24th will feature 3-4 four songs performed by the Dahoo around 11pm to go with the many other awesome entertainment options that night.
The party is at Disjecta, under the Burnside bridge, east side.
I'll post more details if I get them, but that's about all I've got.

The Dahoos with Third Angle Musical Ensemble - Sat. April 29th.

We'll be performing with the Third Angle Music Ensemble, a critical acclaimed experimental classical string quartet this Saturday, April 29th at the Wonder Ballroom for their 20th Anniversary Show. We'll do just one song with them, a very cool interpretation of a Queen song involving someone's mama.

Dahoo @ Queen

The Dahoo's will be performing a handful of Queen songs outside the Queen concert at the Rosegarden by the fountain at 7pm tonight. We'll do a handful of Queen songs. Beyond that we'll see what our manifestation efforts bring for getting us inside.

You all sounded so great last night! It is so much fun to get to sing with you. I'm sorry I fucked up the song, I got confused about the horn solo, but what the hell can I say. I still had a blast.
The Dahoo Chorus consistently steals the show. Nice job!

finally.....there are others but that's all I got the muster for at the moment. Sorry if they are a little soprano heavy....I love each and every one of you equally, those ladies are just the ones that usually are in my nearest periphery!
Thank you Jon and Darcy for such a unique and wonderous experience. You two are the essence of inspired and talented....oh yeah and ummmm,
the band doesn't suck either :>. love you guys too! Seriously, you impress the crap out of me every single time I hear(and sing with) you. You rock, it's truly an honor.

Kaosmosis is proud to present the Fourth Annual Yeti Snowball! This
"winter wonderland of excitement" has become a Portland tradition and one
of our most popular shows. A year-in-review of Kaosmosis' 2005 event
series will feature an all-local line-up of musical acts, artists, and DJs
performing special Holiday sets.

Featured entertainment will include the Dahoo Chorus (24-person rock
alterna-choir) performing their 2nd Annual Holiday Extravaganza show, two
sets by the MarchFourth Marching Band (35-piece big-band explosion), new
material by Solovox (one-man electronic dance machine), the Roswell
Sisters (androgynous jazz vocal trio), plus a very special extended
musical journey by DJ Manoj and the Baby New Year (a rare collaboration of
turntables and live musicians). Arrive early to experience the
Gingerbread House of Mystery, Interactive Snow Globe, illuminated hula
hoopers, fireside crooners, and many more surprises!

PLEASE NOTE NEW VENUE LOCATION:
Due to the recent (and unexpected) sale and closure of the BossaNova
Ballroom, we have moved the Yeti Snowball to the Audio Cinema (an amazing
new 10,000 square-foot artist workspace located at the corner of SE 3rd
and Madison). Fare thee well Bossa Nova, we will cherish the memories!

SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT SMOKING:
We would like to sincerely apologize for 1) the lax enforcement of the
"smoking upstairs only" policy at our recent Suono Angelica event, and 2)
the temporary presence of a cigarette vendor which had a relationship with the
venue. This won’t happen again.

GOOD NEWS
For those concerned about these issues, we have good news:
the new Audio Cinema is a smoke-free venue. We will provide a heated outdoor
area/lounge to accommodate our smoking friends.
